Default Tinted Windows

I'm thinking about tinting the windows in my '07 GS350 was wondering whether the tinting provides much protection against interior sun damage? Thanks.

You can't go wrong with window tint. It's a fairly inexpensive investment which helps the looks of your car and keeps it cool in the summer. And yes it does provide an ounce of privacy.

I got state legal Hupor Optik tint. I love it. Not dark to see out of, yet it really does cut heat.

same here, huper optik. get ceramic or the better tint that actually blocks out all the UV and the heat (while making sure it doesn't interfere with nav)

You should absolutely tint your vehicle. It keeps it a lot cooler in the summer, and saves your interior in the long run, plus it looks a lot better.

+2 on the Huper Optik. Have it on my GS. IMO the best tint out there - it does all that it claims.

Some people like the look of tint and others do not.
Regardless of the percentage of tint level (dark or light)....tint does provide protection both for the interior and the people inside.

Ceramic isn't supposed to. Unlike the old "titanium" tints of yor.

CA law states Front Side Windows must allow more than 70% of light in.

Does anyone have 70% tint? How noticable is it since it is letting 70% of the light thru? Thanks.
