Not true for me. One of the reasons I got the GS350 was because of the decent mpg - it's bigger, more luxurious, more comfortable, has more features, performs *nearly* as well and gets better mpg than my IS350. . .

I won't get a hybrid until they figure out the weight & trunk issues. Its bad enough that a hybrid costs 15-20% more, then you add the weight penalty & lack of trunk space and it's 3 strikes yer out. . .

Here's something I find funny.. the people that were in the Acura forum I used to frequent when I owned an RL would go ON and ON about the RL needing a V8 in order to be able to compete with the likes of BMW/Infinity/Lexus. Looking at the survey results.. doesn't seem like many have chosen the V8 option. So much for that theory as to why Acura isn't competing well in the sport/lux segment.
