PIAA parking light
Have anyone try the PIAA 168/194 EXTREME WHITE 5W bulb on the parking light of the GS350. How does the color match up to the HIDs?

The amber bulbs looks good if you have matching amber foglights. I did find the post with the pictures of the diff. 194 bulbs. Polarg looks pretty close, I would not find any picture of a 194 PIAA extreme white. I guess what I am asking is did anyone have any problem with the Polarg in there and how long do they last.

The only problem I have heard about LED parking light is that the cheapo one from ebay dont fit will and may come loose and fall into the headlight housing and that some LED's circuitry will burn out due to the heat generated from the DRL. I also read that there have been problem with the Polarg M6, which runs a higher wattage can leave burn marks and have a very short life.

EyeKutr, have you ever try or seen the PIAA extreme white 194 bulb. Are they close to the M4? I think PIAA's quality is a little better than Polarg's.

That's exactly what happened to my LED before. Anyways, I don't have experience with the 194 PIAA's but I do have some PIAA 3157s on my Tahoe and I would like to say that they are brighter than the M4's on my 3GS but not as white/blue. However, I have not looked at them side-by-side closely.

Thank Yang. The 3157 is diff wattage, that might be Y they are brighter but its good to know that the PIAA is not as white. I think I will go for the Polargs.

I tried the Piaas in my 2IS, they were a good match for the factory Hids. If you want a slightly cheaper option, Mtec xenon bulbs are a good match too, I used those for my fogs. Forget the Drls, I tried Piaas Xtreme whites and they still look yellow since they operate at 1/2 power, the bulbs did look good when not lit tho . . . Polargs are pricey so didn't try them.

Every Polarg 714 M4 bulb I have seen were slightly cheaper than the PIAA on the internet. I try Mtec before on my GX470 running board lights and think they are too yellow, so I swap them to LEDs. I think I will leave the DRL alone since they are supposed to be yellow anyways so other driver can see you better in daylight as oppose to white. I also dont want a blue dot in the middle of my high beam lense The blue dot on the parking light is ok since you cannot see unless you bent way down. I might try to change the fog this Summer, does anyone know if you can see the blue bulb in the fog light housing?

^ What do Polarg's cost ? Piaas cost $13 and Mtecs $11. I thought the Polargs were 15-20. . .
Again, I've tried the Piaas and Mtecs, they match the oem hids well. . .
