2007 GS350 - Price Check!
Ok, thanks to you all for giving me feedback on my other thread - 2006 GS430 or 2007 GS350. Went and test drove a used 2007 GS350 this past week and I'm sold. It has everything but ML and has ~12K miles on it. I got them to come down on it to $38K. Based on what I calculate for an approx whole-sale value I'm sure this is still high, but I've hit up a few other lexus dealers and haven't gotten them to move much. Thoughts?

i think you might be able to negotiate a little more...on $$.
can't recall you situation from the previous thread, but a new '07 350 is not far from that price. a friend walked away $42 >> early Dec.

Thanks everyone - looks like I was a bit too slow and they already sold it. I haven't been able to budge any of the California Lexus dealers below the $38k mark for a GS350 with less then 20K miles (either the dealers aren't hungry enough or they are still moving them briskly).

My rule of thumb (in CA) is to get the car OTD for less than Msrp. So if your Msrp is 50k, otd for 48k is a great deal . . .

Well the sales man is suppose to be one of my parents real good friend. I called my mom last night asking her to call the salesguy casue it was at the end of the month, i told her to tell him that people on clublexus have been buying their GS350 for around 46do. He told her there is no way that is possible. Said the best he could get was 3500 off the sticker price.

Din, No thats b4 TTL, I had a trade in, so the tax was only $700. The GS has a very high profit margin for the dealer, the diff. between invoice and MSRP is about 6000 to 6500 dollars. Your salesman can definitely do better than $3500 off.
