Default Lexus Japan Hanger

Once in a while (I'm in San Diego...) I need to carry a jacket, tossing it in the back seat of the car was the usual procedure... Not anymore, thanks to the added Luxury of the Lexus Japan Hanger, now my jacket rest, in style, and free of wrinkles, in a specially designed and leather wrapped, Lexus Japan hanger...

Installation was somehow challenging as the back of the seat need to come out so the headrest can be removed for the hanger base to come in, once I figure that out installation was a 5 min job. I got the Hanger from Luis at Carlson Toyota, interestingly the item seems to have been removed from their website.

Interesting, reminds me of an airport taxi I rode in Paris...also Lexus Japan vehicles often have handles behind the seats, this hanger would allow coats to be hung there without the bulge that the handles would cause.

no...

I have an intake, a full exhaust and a roof spoiler in the garage waiting for the rear bumper and Tom braces to come to install them... After all that I will have to work on the front end... At least I am not modding my wife's LS460... (yet )

Come again, did you remove your seat back to install the hanger base ??? I have the same JDM hanger, all I did was recline the driver's seat all the way back, pull out the headrest and slide in the base. All in all, a 5 min DIY job. The USD is taking a beating in the foreign markets, so JDM parts are getting more expensive - prolly why Carson pulled this from their website...

The headrest move up and down automatically depending on the seat position, it is clipped to a mechanism inside the seat, that's why you can't just take it off, you have to remove the clips, then take it off, and the only way is to take out the back of the seat.

The LS is a very nice car, but I definitely prefer my GS, it is much more sporty, feel more powerful, handle way better and looks gorgeous...

I've got a similar carbon one that I've had for 6 months. I love it! I had a wood based one on my last car. They are very helpful for your jacket. Nice job.
