^ Neither actually, it seems to be positioned in the middle. Slightly bigger than the GS but not quite an LS. Somebody hit the new RL with the same fugly stick they used on the Mdx. Did Chris Bangle get a side job with Acura ?!?!?

Competes with the GS, the RL is mid-size & not really more spacious than the TL inside, + no V8. . .

For the record it IS in the GS/E/5/A6 class but on the bottom tier of it as it offers no RWD or V-8, it is AWD with FWD bias. Even the Volvo S80 offers a V-8. What does it seem to compete with? TL/Accord/failure......

Exactly what I think.
If it is competing, it isn't scoring many points. Somehow, I don't think Acura cares. They're gonna make this thing regardless of sales and popularity....or the lack there of!
