Default Dash Rattle/Creaks in Pennsylvania

In Pa or actually anywhere around Philadedlphia. Anybody have any success? I've been bringing my 350 to Lexus of Chester Springs but comes back out the same exact way it goes in. The Service Tech said they insulated all points but it still rattle when the car is not fully warmed up. Also, sounds like creaking around the nav screen dash area when I run over a slight bump or crack in the road which I told the service guy but they make it seem like it's normal.
Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

This will sound weird, but I saw a post from a similarly squeaking dash- the owner stuffed an old sock into the crease btwn the windshield and dash and basically cured the problem. I'm lucky, here in Elkins Park- my 300 is like a deprivation chamber. Super-quiet, but I still have very low mileage right now.

Default Rattle repair in SE Pa.

Ditto for me. I am bringing in my 08 GS AWD in for the second time to Wilkie, the sister dealership. A repair was done to quell the Styrofoam rubbing noise, but I still get the rice krispies sounding noise. Also, I do get intermittent rattle or noise of something loose when I strike a hard bump. A repair also has to be done to reattach a black plastic kick plate directly under the glove box which literally rattled itself loose and fell down after the clips gave out.

I have seen some techs (not me personally) do that with a 1/4" rubber hose. It puts tension on the clips. I have had good luck with having the insulation on the clips solving the problem, but apparently it doesnt work all the time?

As far as the squeak around the console, There are a few things you can do, but its really up to the dealer to decide on what to do with it unless you try something on your own. Just be careful on not messing anything up if you decide to pull the console out yourself.

According to the repair order, the repair was done per the TSB for Instrument Panel Rattle 06 GS300 & GS430. The panel was removed and insulation was place on the dash, defroster and A-Pillars.

A tick from the windshield was repaired with the removal of the upper and lower windshield clips per the TSB.

I am a squeek nut. I hate squeeks and tackled this issue a few days ago with very good results. I took the nav screen out (see posts about the bluetooth/dvd mod to do this). I then also popped out the air vents above the nav screen. (it pops out but leave connected. then put a very thin coating of grease on all plastic where the nav and vents touch the dash. (i did on inner dash and outside of vents and nav screen. also got the metal to metal contacts and all the plastic clips on the dash and side panels. This removed all dash squeeks! I do still have a bit of a tick coming from the windshield but cannot find its source. The majority of squeeks are now gone. (The dealer has done the plastic clip recall). This took about 1.5 hours, but to be rid of the squeeks is very worth it. (also hit the contact points of the center console which quieted any noises when leaning on center console arm rest).

The grease would have to be re-apply every so often. I prefer a more permanent fix.
