Where Can I Buy The Hid Bulbs For The Parking/daytime Running Lights
ANYONE KNOW WHERE i CAN FIND THESE BULBS THAT CHANGE THE YELLOWISH LOOKING BULBS CLOSER TO THE CENTER (TOWARDS THE GRILLE, NOT THE HEADLAMPS. THE NAME ESCAPES ME). WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE BULB OR NUMBER ETC. i WANT A BRIGHT WHITISH HUE LIKE THE HEADLIGHTS. THANKS GUYS. I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS MOD. IT WILL BE EASY AND IT WILL MAKE A PRETTY NICE AESTHETIC CHANGE.

official name is PARKING LIGHT
W5W 194
and you can find a CRAP LOAD of those here
http://autolumination.com/194.htm
however, all those MAY work but SIZE might not fit, so try them at your own risk, I have one set coming from there to test the output, i will post pics when i get hem
*edit: wait, are you talking about the high beam bulbs? no, you can't run HID for those unless you turn off DRL.

Are you talking about the day time running light or the parking light? The parking light is the dim light that turns on in the high beam housing when your low beams is on. The DRL is the high beam bulb at half wattage when you low beam is off. Anyways, the parking light is a 194 or 168 bulb and the DRL/ highbeam is a 9005 bulb.

here are some pictures as promised:
Osram Cool Blue W5W - Free from Powerbulbs.com w/ purchase
What I've decided to use currently, the color is whiter than stock and just flows better with my 6000k low beam IMO
Autolumination - 194 Oval Leds Bulbs - $2.49 each, I bought the cheapest one on there to test the color
On with my xenondepot 6000k D4S - probably works better with 8000k
Comparison between autolumination bulbs & Osram cool blue

great pics man. I was wondering is it hard to remove the plastic engine covers. I want to adjust my headlights and just generally explore the engine compartment, but I dont want to screw anything up
