4th vs. 5th gen Nav
Anyone want to post pictures of their nav so i can kina see the diffrence? I want a 430, but can't afford the 07 and can only pick up a 06...but i want the 5th gen nav i think. So i'm stuck!

I'm not sure pictures will do it justice. doesn't cost to test drive In addition to the better res, more features too-It's a big difference IMO

I have to agree with what they said, a picture is not going to help you judge I think you should go take a test drive. But there are a lot of difference between them....I am not sure if you can upgrade it after you get the older version, but that might be something that you can look into as well.

there is a big uptick in voice command capability tho mixed reviews on how reliable it is. certainly some happy posters on that lately. but i think upgrading your car from gen4 to gen5 after you buy it is a long shot i think. not aware of anybody doing that.
depends on your priorities of course, but i'd rather have an 06 with gen4 than have to pass altogether.

Or maybe you should just get the '06 GS430 w/out comparing...that way you won't know what you're missing.

Thanks for the help guys. I took a GS350 for a test drive and i loved the black/blueish Nav. Not sure if i need all the features but i will go take a 06 430 for a drive also. I just really want the TQ of the 430
