Default Front bumper gouge repair

I'm going to try to repair a small 1/8" deep, 1" long gouge in my front bumper. Anyone know what kind of plastic the bumper is made from? The bumper is black. I'd like to find something that could fill the gouge and not need painting.

How big is the gouge? Lexus/Toyota bumper covers are polyolefin. They are thermoplastics that start as small pellets and molded into shape. Bodyshops usually sublet bumper cover repairs to specialty bumper repair facilities. A good facility will repair or "recondition" the bumper cover by repairing/filling the damaged area with the same polyolefin plastic the original cover was made of. Then they sand/prep the surface and usually prime it. Check with your local body shop to see if they can send the bumper cover out for repair.

that repair will probably cost over half the price of a new bumper.
just patch it as best you can with fiberglass filler.
bumpers are made to be bumped and mangled.
at least it won't rust.
