Stop the Vicodin. You need a strong anti-inflammatory med with out the narcotic. You might try taking 2 extra strength Tylenol + 3 Advil every 4 hrs for 1 day, then stop. Unless you've got gastric problems or allergies to ibuprofen.

You could think about all those who want to have your car in their driveway. Hope you get better soon.

Brian,

8 days? something is wrong, maybe it is the pain pills.

I was only off 3 days and felt like crap/pain like you would not believe but got up and going and it was only because the oral surgeon had made a mistake and stitched my cheek to my gum, once his partner in the practice fixed what he'd done I was good to go. Beware of oral surgeons who have GIANT initials embroidered on their smocks that is not a good omen

And use cloraseptic in the waterpic if you are still having to do that.

You could at least go sit in the GS.

well, in keeping with the actual question of what to do when not driving the GS. try some Bond dvds that have car chases so you at least get the effect or watch the user dvd that came with the navi.......get well soon

Your dentist either has it in for you or isn't very good. Conventional 'wisdom' would be to have the 2 on one side pulled and after you recover, go back to address the 2 on the other side. Having all 4 pulled at once should never be an option. IIWY, I'd find another dentist ASAP. . .

I had all four pulled right before I started college - my ID picture was awful!! But, it didn't take eight days to be able to get outside the house,....

Luckily, there are some dentists on this forum!

Now would be the time to watch DVDs in your car if you have that option. Or if you don't, haul in a portable one. Speaking of car chases, the Bourne trilogy has some good ones too!

I've had the same problem. But when you feel like it, go out and strap yourself into your GS, turn on Sport mode, turn on PWR mode, check the fuel gauge, find a good winding country road, and stand on the gas pedal. You'll feel better in seconds.

AGREE!!!

But if you still have swelling and inflammation, time for you to check-in to ER.

It is very embarrassing to said that your "oral surgeon" got you infected during the procedure!!!

Do what I do. Wash it and admire what you've got.

Getting all 4 pulled at once is definitely an option if they're simple extractions... If all four are erupted or if only 1 or 2 are partially impacted then it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Yep. As for getting infected... It's usually a bad post-op care...
