Hey guys have anyone use this set of HID fog light http://l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2027
it looks pretty nice and it seems like the DRL that is in the light looks sick as well I think this will look good with my new 6000K light. so give me some advice guys thanks....

yes that's led DRL and hid fog lights. it's not cheap, around 1600 bucks i think, maybe more now due to weak $$. it's not direct plug and play if i remember right, especially the DRL

I would've bought it if it was a perfect fit and easy installation. But If I remember right, it was harder than it looks. something abut the instructions isn't the easiest since the mounts was different or something.

why not just get the xenon-depot HID upgrade kit for a few hundred bucks?

the difference with the JDM Fog lights are they have projectors and the LED DRL system.


Me personally like the fog lights projectors, but i wouldnt buy this mod since it takes a lot of modding to fit the us cars.

Thanks guys I do not think I am going to get them because they are pretty expensive I think I am just gonna go with Yellow fog set up.

1) oem is cool, especially it's totally different
2) it's projector, hid kits are just reflectors still
3) absence of led DRL

i don't know about the mounting, if anyone has more details, i would love to know. i have seen the units side by side, thought they are pretty similar. but for sure wiring is a problem

Some guy bought it and tried fitting it but it was just too much work so he ended up returning the kit awhile ago. I like the yellow fogs myself.

Sorry for bringing back an old post...do we know anyone who has installed the Lexus oem HID fog lights in their 3rd gen GS? The only pics i've seen installed are on the 2nd gen IS below...
