I have had this car for 6 months and the drivers floormat already has a hole in the fabric. My g35 was 5 + yrs old when I got rid of it and the floor mats were absolutely fine. Anyone have this prob with their car. I know some people have the clear plastic mats to go over the lexus matt, but I didnt get them bec they make the car smeel like plastic for weeks when ytou first get them

Everyone complains about holes in their mats, fabric or all seasons... I don't see why there is a need for a new thread. Do a search and it always comes up.

My dad still has fabrics in his 01 RX and they are perfectly fine, just a tad bit dirty. Its all in your driving habits and how you get into and out of your car. People tend to rest there foot on the mat when driving/accelerating and braking without lifting their foot off the mat, thus over time wearing a hole.

I had the same problem in mine. I even complained at the dealer. I ordered another set off ebay hoping they will last longer.

The mats form the factory just seem to be cheap.

No these are just poorly made. My g35 was 5 yrs old and still no bald spot and definetly no hole
