Default Has Anybody Painted This?

Has anybody painted these graphite colored pieces to match the body color and side skirts? I am having TTE side skirts installed next week and my painter suggested we paint that as well. Just curious if anyone out there has already done this and what they thought of the results.

anytime the body shop touches a car their will be a color match issue to some degree. leave it stock and save yourself the headache and the BS excuse that mismatch colors are a part of the game

What do you say to getting it painted when you put a body kit on the car?
I understand that there will be color variation, but I also have considered painting that part to match the fluidity of the car.

man, if people can't even tell the difference in color between the metal and plastic part of the car, you are not gonna be able to tell the difference between painted kits and rest of the car.

It's FINE, just go to a reputable shop that has experiences with aftermarket kits, it's not that big of a deal.

I've had 90% of my old car repainted, not even 5 used car appraiser could tell the difference.

That chrome piece is one of the nicest accent of the GS's side view, I would leave it alone.

Adam, that Lex is Mean. I really like that. I wouldn't want to paint the chrome piece, I belive it is the black around it, right?

Thank you. You are correct I painted the plastic piece around it. The chrome piece I think accentuates the car a little more. (but what the hell do I know?) I did though paint all the other chrome pieces on my car graphite because I'm not really into the whole chrome look.

Default Change it.

Since you have the Obsidian color, you should consider getting the carbon fiber pice to go over it, instead of painting it. http://l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2073
