Default To Drop or not to drop

Hey guys...
i've never dropped a car before so I have some questions...I've been researching and found that I'd probably be happiest with the nf 210 springs. Im a relatively simple guy (practicality over flashiness as I already feel that the GS looks nice as it is), I love my GS to death , 07 Gs 350, w 18' G spyder oem rims..I love the look of the car but I also love the fact that I don't have to worry about it getting dinged or scratched everytime I pass a speed bump or go up the small ramp on my driveway. That being said the car I had before was the Benz E 320 right when the current generation model came out...i believe 04? Does anybody know if the Benz's are usually lower to the ground, in particular the e class? Cause i felt like the car was a lot lower driving it then the current GS. Although I wasnt as much of a fan of the E vs. the Gs, I did like that it felt lower to the ground... and I didnt really have much problems scraping the ground. If the nf 210 springs will give me a similar drop/feel to that of the e class before I wouldnt mind getting the drop done..if its significantly lower than Id have to reconsider it. Also can anybody with nf210 springs on their car give me some feedback in regards to everyday driving...i have a black car so every scratch is all the more noticeable.

I am a lot like you in that I have never dropped a car either. I am about to put the NF210s on myself so I did a lot questioning like you. I can't answer the question comparing the GS to the MB but what you will get is 1.1" drop in the front and .8" drop in the rear. Not sure about your driveway but I have a slight grade, maybe 5-7 degrees, and I am not even close with the factory height (RWD). The feedback I got with the ride quality is that you give up 10-15% compared to factory.

I am lowered on DF210s... no scraping or anything near it. Not like my civic... they civic scrapped EVERYTHING, but the GS is perfect. Little to no fender gap because thats how i roll.

i spent the $$$$ and got the NF210's for my 3GS. before i got em i was contemplating on getting the DF's cuz unlike MIKEGS350 and a couple other people.....i have never had a car that hasnt been lowered!!! i decided to go conservative......and now i want to get the DF's.

does anyone know anyone else who wants a pair of NF210's for fairly cheap??? or better yet....anyone who has a set of DF's they want to sell???? i put em on 2 months ago and they are perfect for the person who wants a little drop, but there not for me. i want it a little lower.

I say buy Flipside's DF210s. The white ones seem to sit lower then the red ones... WHICH is a good thing. I want lowerrr... might not be too late for coilovers. lol
