and plus when it's a bit dark out, you barely see the finger prints with this, it's when sun is shining directly on it where i notice the prints

i only clean it whenever i wash my car.

Ok, you guys convince me, I will buy one. I use the steering wheel controls for the radio also, but everytime I touch that screen for HVAC or NAV, it leaves a finger print. I must have really oily fingers lol.

This screen proctector is impossible to install with having air bubbles in there. I end up ruining the screen protector trying to get it prefect Oh well, $15 down the drain.

yes, installing the screen could be very challenging. one piece of dust and it's pretty much impossible to take it out.

I got the ebay one, I use a credit card to get the air bubble out like the instruction said, but it didn’t work. Once I touch the inside part of the screen protector, it was all over. Fingerprints everywhere, the ad said it’s washable, but washing it didn’t work. I took it on and off a few times and one of corner started to bent and then some how I bent the middle and made a 1/2" permenent crease in it. At that point, it was in the trash it goes.

Default Very true.

Like its been said, fingers have oil on them there is nothing you can do. So I just wipe it down with a microfiber towel, it gets everything nice and clean, and while I am at it, I do the wood trim too, looks much better. Takes maybe thirty seconds at most every morning while the engine is worming up, and that is doing a good job, so its not that hard.
Or you can do everything through the voice controls (I don't know if you have that or not) but it works great for performing simple actions. That way you don't have to touch the screen.

The voice control is useless, althought, I do find the command Home and Address very useful, all the others are hit or miss, I use the sterering wheel button for radio control.
I do realized fingers have oil on them. I am just going by my experience with my Garmin Nuvi, which is a touch screen also. The Garmin have some kind of coating on the screen, its finger print resistant. I clean the Garmin maybe once every 6 months with heavy use.

Is the aerotect one better, does it have the same issue with air bubble, cant touch the sticky side without trashing it, does it bent easily? What is this applicator that comes with the aerotect screen protector, is it just a credit card type device to get rid of the air bubbles?

Our Screen Protectors include a tabbed release liner that allows for easy handling of the film itself -this really helps to prevent fingerprints on the adhesive side. The applicator/squeegee is simmilar to a credit card. As far as air bubbles, once the first side is tacked down, it is easy to put the rest on with out getting air bubbles.

We have almost all current Lexus models available, and they can be ordered here: AeroTect Nav Screen's

If anybody has any questions, feel free to drop us a PM or E-mail. Thanks!
