GETTING RID OF MY GHETTO i47 IPOD ADAPTER AND GETTING THE NEW LEXUS UNIT
I recently got an ipod adapter from the local dealership and had it installed. Much to my dismay the lame ipod adapter (i47 adapter). It allows you to only change tracks from the console/dash switch. You cant change songs from the wheel. I bough the adapter bec I saw on the passionatepursuit.com that lexus was releasing their own unit early 2008. I went in in early march for the install assuming that the adapter I was getting was the new lexus unit. Well you know what they say about assuming things. In the end I kept this crappy unit , for a month then started to get irritated at the fact that they charged me $600 for the unit with install and I cant change the tracks from the wheel. Well what the hell is the point. I called and spoke to the service rep and explained and they agreed to change it out for the newly released lexus unit. Anyone out there have this unit? I am assuming it will work similar to the unit I have, but then again you know what they say about assuming.

The answer is yes ! get a grip. you will be ok
. Do you have to complain about things like capital letters ?
To all of the text sensitive readers... get over it guys. 
Thats like asking someone why they always bold the text in their posts. YES I HAVE TO ALWAYS CAPS LOCK EVERY THREAD I CREATE AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DO IT IN THE FUTURE.

No, its not the caps lock that bothers them, but when you create an *** load of threads and they are in caps lock, it gets annoying. its like screaming out "im an attention *****, look here!!!"

If it hurts their eyes they can pick up a pair of +1.00 OTC readers at walmart to lessen the enormous eye strain.. GET A GRIP GUYS! I have to say when people complain about things like this"" its like screaming out "I've got no life, look here!!!"". LOL

did you get yours at the dealership or did you buy it online? There is a dealership in the aerea that carries the schoche unit. Do you guys think that might be better? Or is the VAIS unit the best? What makes one better than the other?
