2006 gs430 h.i.d question
what type of hid's can i get for my gs? i was looking at the toms 5500k but dont know if i should spend the money on them, they seem a bit high. could someone help me out and let me know what type to buy? im wanting to have 8k because my highbeams and fogs are 8k and i want them to match. thanks!

don't think high beam HID is a good idea but to each his own
why don't you just get some 8000k D4S bulbs from that shop if they sell it? you'll want to stick with the same brand if you want them to match in colors
2 vendors on board that i highly recommend

http://www.mobilehid.com/
can't go wrong with either one

if you already have 8k highs and 8k fogs, and you want to match the headlights, the logical answer is 8k d4s for lows right??
mobilehid is the way to go, i know the owner. you can also try xenondepot
hid for highs... that doesn't make much sense. but like kev said, to each his own

same, why did you get hid for your highs before you got them for your lows?
I don't see why you need your high beams to be "real" hid with a ballast and what not.
also with 5500k for your lows, it will be kinda off looking since your fogs will be much brighter and really blue. though I would suggest getting 6000k or 6500k for your headlights rather than something really blue. you want to keep your lumen output high and usually with increase in color temp kelvins, it decreases and your visibility will drop like hell.
