I agree 100%. I have had ride alongs with service reps, but since the noise is intermittent (acting up much worse during hot days), it's hard to duplicate the noise during the 5 minute trip I have with them. Last time I had it serviced for the same problem, they put an extra 40 some miles on my car! They said it was necessary, because they couldn't pin point the noise. IT STARTED RATTLING ON THE FREEWAY HOME!!!

There was an issue with the ES350s where the structure under the rear window needed some spot welding because of poor welds. Haven't heard about it being an issue on the GS but maybe a possibility esp if it's creaking. Press the issue with your dealership and place a tape recorder or video recorder back there. You are sure to catch it creaking at some point.

Bring it in on a cold morning and find a great bumpy patch of freeway. I just did this with my '06 and it's solid as a rock again.
Better hurry before it gets warm in the AM.
Also call the sales person you bought it from and tell him you're getting frustrated. The person I get my cars from has become a great friend and really goes above and beyond on anything I ever need. (Rick Rose at Lexus of Pleasanton)

The rattling noise in window and the moon-roof were fixed, but the rear-deck still persists itermittently.
I brought my vehicle in twice for the rear-rattle. It acts up much more when the weather is hot and the car had been parked in the sun for some time. It rarely makes noise when taken out from the garage.
They tried serval attempt to resolve the "creaking noise," even sent a specialist from HQ... did not solve the problem...
And you are right, "creaking noise" is more pressitant as weather warms up...
Time for me to make another trip and let them try to eliminate the CREAK...
