hey fellas, i usually hang out on the IS threads because i got an IS-350 last aug, i just bought my wife an 08 GS350 AWD for her birthday.
i got the fully loaded model
MSRP was 53,400 i paid 49,030 and they paid about 2 K negitive equity in my trade. i think pretty much this was a 0 deal for the dealership.
i paid 1st months lease payment down and have a payment of $783.00 a month for 48 mos.
i think i did pretty good

Welcome to the GS forums...and congrats on a great car...amke sure you take note of the TSB's so there are no surprises...main one is the ECU software update so the engine starts correctly...depending on when yours was built it may or may not have the latest.
In terms of your deal...do you have MLevinson stereo with this price? Reluctant to say the dealer may $0 but I think you did OK.
Congrats again...hope your wife appreciates the serious ride that this is!

Forgot to give you the heads up on the dash rattle (especially in cold weather areas). Your dealer knows what to do about it if you inquire por hear the rattles.....you may not hear them now as it is warmer, but keep an eye/ear on it.

yes i got the fully loaded model. M lev, park assist, navi i dont know exactly what comes with what package but if you build one on lexus.com and select the last option thats the one i have.
in colorado i know they get different builds but ours had the headlight washers and folding mirrors it does not have adaptive cruise or adjustable suspention. i wish you could just get every option like a honda i dont know why they take some things off in different areas.

I just got mine for $46K... fully loaded (ok I lied... I don't have it yet. My dealer is doing a swap to get the color I want... but I already put my $1K down :-). That price includes the "documentation fee" -- all it doesn't include is the sales tax. According to my dealer, invoice on the NAV/ML fully loaded model is $45,750... and they still make a profit even if they sell at invoice!!
A dealer would never do 0 profit, except maybe when times are desperate (need to dump inventory, etc).
But still, great price!!

I got mine at Lexus of Watertown (MA)... and I got the same price + $250 from Ira Lexus. Keep in mind... as the '09 announcements get closer, they'll be more and more game to deal.
Then again, I haven't actually SEEN the car yet... so we'll see what happens. You never know when they'll try to pull a fast one... but I have it all in writing at this point, just waiting on them to bring my preferred color in...
Black Sapphire/Cashmere... :-D :-D :-D
