yeah i just bought an 2006 gs300, Glacier Frost Mica, comes with the 350 gun metal rims....i was wondering how many were made and how limited were they??? thankzzz

im from northern cali and i dont see much around....

 

this is true. there was a lot of em made. but im sure there were far less GFM cars made than any other color. And of those GFM cars that were made, even fewer have black interior.

Uh?......yeah! its sitting in my garage.

they changed the color for '08 to "Opaline Pearl". it's a real pearly color too, it just looks more purple than blue. anyone who's seen both colors know what im talking about. both those damn colors are impossible to explain or take pics of. you just have to look at em in person.

 

I like both opaline pearl and GFM

I remember reading on CL that quite a bit of the GFM were allocated for HI since the color was popular there.

 

I think the GFM is an amazing automotive color. Depending on the light and the time of day, there are apparent color shifts in these cars. They are beautiful. I was dead set on a GFM '06 but ended up getting a better $ deal on a black 300.

 

The GFM pearly blue was interesting to me...purplish pearly not so much...sounded ...well...too feminine? Great, I know I just offended the OP owners.

Perhaps in reality it is not too feminine...as these are so rare, seeing an example in the flesh was impossible.

Also, O pearl did not come with cashmere interior...which I cant figure out.

 

Actually ive heard alot of people on here say that GFM is a "feminine" color!! whatevers...i love it and am glad i stood my ground and waited for one.

i cant believe that??? what the heck?? im sure its just like the GFM cars.....they werent offered with black interior. you had to special order em and wait 3 months or so. i would imagine the O Pearl cars can be ordered with cashmere.

 

actually only seen one or two in phoenix. I dont know though bec you cant tell when they are driving by at speed

 

Love my GFM as well. I could've gotten a better deal on any 3GS they had on the lot but I insisted on ordering a GFM and waited. Now I'm a very happy and proud owner of my car!

 

I believed GFM is about <5% of the total production, that what they told me when I ordered mine.

 

Yea i have seen alot of people post that Opaline Pearl seems like a girls color due to the purplish/pinkinsh pearls....but it really is an AMAZING color in person

 

Yeah, Opaline Pearl is like a purple, blue, pink, white and silver all mashed together, if thats at all possible
