Default Proud new owner of a 08 Starfire Pearl GS350!!!

I originally walked in to purchase an IS350 yesterday and ended up driving out with a 08 Starfire Pearl GS350. So far the car is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I've always liked the styling of the GS, but didn't think that I could afford one. The sticker for my car was 48K, but I was able to get it down to 42,555. It was only about 3K more then the IS350, so I was like what the heck and took the plunge. lol

Although the IS350 had a little bit more ummph to it as you punched it, the GS350 just looked better to me and I did like the extra interior room. First thing that I would like to do to car is upgrade the wheels. The factory 18" wheels are a bit small for the car I think.

WELCOME to the GS family!! Post up some pics of your new ride, especially after you get some new wheels to roll on.

You are kidding me right? Over 75% of the GS production are black, silver, and white; That is 25% of WHITE!!!

I think your dealer just tried to get raid of the red one...

Unlike GFM, only >5% was made!!!

That's the one thing that kinda scared me though. I got the cashere interior with golden bird's eye wood. I've never had a light brown interior before and i'm really afraid of getting it dirty and stained. For those of you who have or have had a light brown leather interior how hard is it to maintain and does it get stain or get dirty really quick?

Like sometimes many of these new designer jeans that my dates or friends will be wearing have a very dark denim dye to it and i'm afraid it could stain the chairs. Is this true? what can i do to protect my leather seats?

yup.. very true, all you can do is to invest in some nice leather cleaner and conditioner and be very active in doing that every once a while. It should keep it nice and new for a long time.

So does the leather cleaner and conditioner remove most stains? And what would you guys recommend?
