Tire Size Question, PLEASE HELP!

he doesn't rub coz' that's oem spec diameter, not overspec. that's why it's not rubbing even lowered.
about the ride, it's subjective. i am sure it rides rougher, but that doesn't mean it rides horrible. rubber band tires don't mean bad rides. tires compound has a lot to do with it.
for the record i am on 245/30 and 265/30 on the gs350 now, not far away from what he has. my ride is not as good as stock, but for sure it still rides very smooth. and i drive over 120 miles a day. my car is also lower than that in the pics and i have zero rubbing

i went with 265 coz' of offset, it's 20x10+37 in the back and i might be putting spacers down the road. i don't have any pictures of my ride though, never took any in fact @_@
yes, even with passenger and very bad dip, no rubbing. no fender mods in the front, rear fenders all shaved

I have an AWD and I just put on some Lexani's (posting pics tomorrow)

They rub on the plastic in the front on hard reverse, and bottom outs..
The rears also rub on the inner fender not real bad, but when bottom out, or road dips..They definitely need to be rolled/cut, have not even put anyone in the back seat yet..
Or maybe a higher offset is needed? I might see if I can get the backpad shaved a few mm more...
As for the ride quality.. Yes not as floaty, however still smooth and comfortable, and handling/road control is much better..
Now just cant wait until a suspension is available for this monster truck...

UPDATE: I know this post is kind of old, but I still havent pulled the trigger on my order yet. Still in the process. Ok, I decided NOT to go with the ASANTI's. I will be going with the Auto Couture Latives.
Before I confirm my order for the to build my rims, I would like to get some feedback on the offset being used.
For the REAR: 20x10 offset: et43
Any objections with the offset? want to go flush, but not too wide where there will be rubbing issues, no fender mods,
As for tire sizes, Im really leaning towards the correct Diameters with:
245/30 & 285/25. Yea the rubberband setup, hopefully it wont be too bad.
Another question: Is there anything wrong with this combo:
245/30 & 285/30 instead of
245/30 & 285/25, a little more meat

Option 2 will be the best for keeping the rolling diameter close to stock and should minimize any rubbing issues. However, the ride comfort will suffer and you could possibly increase your chances of a bent rim if you hit a pot hole or uneven pavement. I would not go with the same aspect ratio (30%) for the front and rear tires because your rolling diameters will be significantly different. This may cause a "check engine" light to occur due to the signifcant wheel/tire RPM difference.

285 on 10 sounds wide, i don't know if you will rub with that.
personally i would use 245 and 275 (assume 8.5/10 or 9/10). whether go with 35/30 or 30/25 that's up to you, later case won't have as much rubbing, if any
245/30 and 285/30? the rear profile is larger, so the tire will look "fatter", thus a rake look on your car.

285 on a 10, is what Nardeezy and many other users are using, so hopefully not too wide and Nardeezy says no rubbing with that.
I would like to go 275 to be safe but INVO's dont come in that size.

Keep in mind, I only went with 285 in the rear because I have an AWD and I wanted to keep the RD's as close as possible. If I had a 2WD I probably would've used 275 in the rear.

I do remember a little rubbing in the rear when I first installed my big wheels/tires. However, it's been a while since I noticed any rubbing in the rear.
Keep in mind, I only went with 285 in the rear because I have an AWD and I wanted to keep the RD's as close as possible. If I had a 2WD I probably would've used 275 in the rear.

oh man, I just got word back from the seller that the Lative w/ SLT in the rears are not BBK Friendly.
Does that mean I cannot upgrade my brakes in the future? or limited choices?
