Default Adaptive Cruise Control

Hi,

Just wondering what everyone who has tried or has the ACC system thinks of it. I have to say it is a great driving aid. And helps immensley when driving and quite clever when it works.

I have had a couple of occasions where I have set it and then the approaching the car infront and it does not seem to slow down as it usually does so I have to end up manually braking. I think perhaps this is to do with me setting it to on when the vehicle infront is closer than the distance that the ACC in that mode maintains - but im still getting used to it! Aside from that anyone got any suggestions or tips on how best to use it

thanks in advance

I love the function and use it quite often. Didn't think it would work too good, but the 'one bar' setting is perfect for my driving habits. If you are one of those drivers who likes to ride the back of car in front of you, the system is not for you. I manually increase the 1bar to 2 or 3 when I see there is some heavy braking way in front of me, that way it slows down smoother, when i come up to the slow down. Ah yeah, the 88MPH limit sucks! Maybe a patch available?
