The Choice -- GS 350 vs. BMW 335xi coupe
#16
go with the bmw, can't beat its lease program not to mention worry free maintenance. I am 6' and fit in the back of the bmw coupe, although not comfortable but it's fine.
if he is buying, GS is probably a better bet.

I actually just went from an Audi S5 (owned 6 months) to a 2008 GS350. While the cars are pretty different the GS is way cheaper to own not to mention a loaded GS is about 54k plus whatever discount while the S5 is 60k and no discount. The S5 gets horrible gas mileage, has high insurance and 19" summer only tires which means you have to put another $1500 or so down for winter wheels and tires. Trust me, the GS is the better choice as long as you don't care if you have the hottest car on the block. No doubt the S5 is the sexiest car you can buy right now for under 100k.

Wow and just think I want to do the opposite, go from a GS300 to an S5 or maybe an A5 S-Line. The only problem is the lease on those things is a killer. Makes the GS leases seem cheap.
I lease and would still get the GS over a 335, because 335's are so damn common here in the NY area, like Honda Accords. Also, don't like the interior on the 335, a little bare bones.
