i DON'T LNOW how old you are, but if you are older (say mid 30's to mid 40's) I understand your reluctance to lower the car. My father was the same way (50's) with his Benz, but after he got some wheels, he begged to drop it. Although aesthetic to you and most, a drop will also provide you with better and safer handling. It's really a win win situation.

That is the reason I went with such a low profile tire. I dropped my 07 and was really unhappy (yeah they were springs and not coils but nothappy nonetheless)
so I really didnt want to do the same with my 08 which here it is:

For sale by the way tires are 285/25 rear and 245/30 front rims are 20x9 and 20 by 10.5. Maybe with a wide tire such as mine you can prevent the 4x4 look. Hope this helps

BTW as you may already know the wide tires specially quality tires such as Nitto invos are not cheap. well there is not many companies that make such a wide low profile tire anyways. You might want to consider how much the tires and wheels are if you want to prevent this 4x4 from happening./ see if you have enough cash to spend on coils. (yeah dont go with just springs you will hate yourself in the future) Let me know if i can help in any other way
