Am I making the wrong decision?
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting 20 inch wheels on my 3rd Gen GS, but I don't want to lower the car.
Am I making the biggest mistake?
Does anyone have pics of a GS with 20 inch rims without lowering springs.
I haven't found much doing a search.
Your help would be appreciated. Thanks!

man the car will look ok with dubs and no drop. It will look better with the drop but if not it will still look great. I see them all of the time at the local dealerships and they still look great. I would run 8.5x20 or 9x20 wheel with a 255/30/20. This is exactly what all three lexus dealer in my area do and the cars look great. you are asking a tuner crowd about wether or no to lower the car with the dubs. Obviously they are going to give response to lower the car. I would roll it stock if the springs stress you. I was also stressed when thinking of lowereing the car with wheels. In the end I did the tein h techs with 20's. These springs lower the car only .8" front and .6" in the rear. the ride difference with tyhe springs is rally minimal and it kills some of the wheel gap without making your car look dumped. I went with these springs initially bec I didnt want tire wear issues bec I went with staggered wheels and I didnt want this car to have ****tty ride quality. In the end I am very happy with the drop, but I want more cornering ability so I am going with coilovers soon. Bottom line dont feel pressured to drop the car, but if you thought maybe to try go with the tein h techs. 225 dollars for the springs and 600 dollars at the dealership for install and alignment. I know alot of guys like to take the cars to local shops. NOT ME. I dont mind spending the extra money to have the work done by a lexus tech. just my 2 cents
