Default Non-Runflat Tires

I have 245/40/18 on my GS350 and don't like the noise or hard ride fro tires.
I am looking at the new Eagle F1 all season & the BF Goodrich G-sport all season but they both have inserts in sidewall to improve handling. Anyone have exprience with these ? Do they make nooise and hard ride like runflats ?

I had 235/40-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on my ES and they were the best summer tire I have ever ridden on. Close to 15k miles in two summers and still as quiet as new. I know they are not the F1 all season but of the same lineage. I too am looking to replace the run flats and will most likely go with the Goodyears.

just my 2¢

The Goodyear F1 is the way to go, especially if you live in NY. The F1 all season got excellent rating from tirerack for road noise, ride comfort and snow traction. I heard they are in pain to put on due to the stiff sidewalls.

If it has stiff sidewalls they are similar to runflats ? would it still give a rough ride ?

Not as stiff as runflats, the side wall on the F1 is Kevler lined. They are not design to support the weight of the car as in the runflats.
