Default Noob with some quick questions

I plan on buying a 3rd gen GS within the next couple of months, but wanted to make sure I got all my concerns out of the way...

Im leaning towards the 300, but is there anything different besides the AWD on the 350?

What springs should I use to lower it?

What bodykit's are available?

And how do you guys like your cars so far?

Any help will help..Thanks

More horsepower on the 350 I definitely recommend getting the 350 and not the 300. There's plenty of springs, Tanabe,Tein, and Eibachs and many others. Bodykits you can go here and see for yourself. And I absolutely love my 3GS

Like Mesca said, get a GS350. Well worth it considering the power it has, newer model, etc. Also, get the RWD because a lot of people are reporting that the AWD version has vibrations and stuff when it comes to being dropped.

I like my car a lot!

i too planned on getting the 300 and im sooo glad i got the 350!! among other differences like problems prone to new generation or new body-styled cars, the major differences are of coarse the bigger engine, bigger brakes, and dont forget the "shark fin"!!! i suggest you save another six months or so and get the 350, im possitive you wont regret it!

the only things that irritate me about the 3GS is the interior lighting, the small fuel tank, and the non-adjusting camber on the suspension!!

they need to have a bigger tank, interior lights that can be "aimed" if needed (and more of em), and someone needs to make a camber kit!!!

kuruptSC - i believe there is a 2007 white gs350 with a job design body kit already installed in the vehicle classifieds. i saw it out at SEMA last year and was very impressed. it's a one owner car and it looks really clean. if i remember correctly, the owner's asking price was pretty competitive to a new car price and it comes fully modded.

any bigger and i cant afford to drive it was premium gas being 4.3X now. i use to drive a civic with a 10g, the GS is 16g or thats what my tank taps out at when i fill even though specs say 18g (i guess there is a 2g reserve)

Hey guys...could you help me out?

I found this GS 350 for sale but the engine bay looks funny to me...besides the black plastic that covers the left side of the engine bay, what else is missing? And the engine bay looks too dirty 2 me for a car with 7500miles. I plan on running the VIN sometime this week when i get the time

Any info would help, thanks!

Looks like that car sat at a tow/salvage yard or even a bodyshop for quite sometime. Chances are it's been involved in an accident. There's no reason to have the engine cover missing like that or have that much dirt in the bay. I'd stay clear of it. Chances are it's too good to be true.

Agreed on no way in hell that there could be an acceptable reason for it looking like that. At 7500 miles and being up for sale, it should be almost indistinguishable from new. It doesn't just look like it's been sitting on a salvage lot, it looks like it was raced, wrecked, used as drug and coyote transport across a desert, submerged in a silt pond, abused in some kind of weired illicit car-sex-pornography ring of gsophiles, and then left for dead on a salvage lot.

If a GS300 is what is truly in your price range, and you like the car, body style, etc. then get one. While the folks here have unanimously saying that a 350 would be preferred, I'm sure a lot will tell you they love their 300s.
