ML and DVD-A disks
A post from rbaker in another thread prompted this thought. I had read elsewhere that you can't really get the full effect of the ML system without DVD 5.1 audio. I bought a few disks to try. I have very broad taste, but the disks I got are outside of my day to day listening tastes--I thought they might be good tests. I got Diana Krall - Look of Love, Dave Koz - The Dance, Jane Monheit - Dream with Me, and some group call porcupine tree (I took a flyer on that one).
They sound good, but none of it knocks my socks off.
I haven't got an iPod adapter yet, so I burned some iTunes downloads to CD. There's a few songs that sound particularly good (I suppose good mixes for the system), but this one song, Gravity, by Shawn McDonald sounds fantastic.
So, what do you have in DVD-A format that wows you?

Besides DVD-A you can just buy concert DVDs... Most are mixed 5.1/6.1/7.1.. One that I particularly like is Eric Clapton - Live in Hyde Park - great sound and when you are able you can watch the video of the concert as well.. Choose the DTS audio option, IMO it sounds a little better..
