my driver side puddle light was dead so i replaced it today.
everything went well and worked properly.
but when i tried to put back the puddle light cover, the plastic piece was a little loose.
it clips back in, but if you hit/bump the mirror with mild force it pops off.
could someone recommend some sort of glue or clear adhesive that would remedy this problem?
reading on other forums, some people have used TINY amounts of silicon to get cover holds.
i am unsure about using silicon due to the fact that when it dries, the hold might be so firm that i may break the cover.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

I would see how much a new cover will cost and go from there, silicon will not break the lense if you use a little bit of it. BTW, what kind of bulb was in the puddle light?
