Default Tire pressure warning light

Hey guys, as most of you know, i have the 20's on the GS and every so often, the tire pressure warning light comes on the dash, is there a way to reset this so it will not appear? thanks in advance.

Do you have sensors in your new rims?

My thoughts exactly and I haven't even thought about it until now -- is it possible to use the factory sensors on aftermarket wheels? The only time the warning indicator came on in my car was on really cold mornings and my digital tire pressure gauge was malfunctioning.

a lot of aftermarket wheels are TPS compatible now, you just need to make sure with the vendor. my 20s have the stock TPS in them

The sensors are on my stock rims still, i take off my 20's in the winter time, so I didn't want to keep changing the sensors and risk breaking them.

I just went through this with my dealership today when I was there investigating the possibility of a set of 18's for my GS.
Some of this info is in the manual. You can have 2 sets of sensors registered in your car's computer. After market sensors supposedly will not work because there is a special code on the Lexus sensors that must be programmed into the computer by Lexus and the Lexus dealership won't program aftermarket sensors. Lexus uses Pacific brand sensors. I wish there was a "no sensor" setting so the idiot light wouldn't be on if I chose to not have sensors. But the light bugs me so I have to consider buying them. They go for $105-130 each depending on where you get them. When mounted the wheel may have to be rebalanced.

My TPMS bomb exploded in the trunk and cracked the casing. My light is back on. I have to put a rubber handball into my bomb next time so that when temps get hot the pressure will squeeze the ball inside and not burst the PVC bomb at the seams.

I will come up with a version 2.0 of my TMPS bomb. it has been working great thus far though.

You have any pics of the TPMS bomb?
