Default Compact Spare amd Tire Question

I've decided to go with Bridgestone RE960 Poll Position A/S tires.I've has them before and I like them.
Before I order....Is a compact spare included with the run flats?
Also can changing over to regular tires from RFs be done on a regular tire machine?
I read something about Michelins PAX(or something) RFs need a special tire machine.I don't know what brand tire is on the car I'm getting yet.

no, you don't get a donut if you have RF option from the factory.

****,no doubt no jack or tools too.
That puts a crimp in my tire buying plans.
Just for the hell of it...
Would a full size spare or just a donut fit in the compartment in the trunk?

no tools too? I honestly haven't really checked my spare area since mine didn't come with a spare, maybe i should take a peek today

the difference between donut and full size is astronomical, i am fully positive that full size is not going to fit

check your car b/c my '07 GS350AWD came w/ both RF and a donut spare so it may be there. Apparently there wasn't any real rhyme or reason as to which got the spare and which did not.

I don't think I'm that lucky.
I just called Lexus customer service and was told no spare or jack with and tools with RFs which blows.

Same here. Just picked up my 08 GS350AWD and it has the donut spare and tools with the RF's.

Great!
Funny how Lexus customer service doesn't know certain things.

And yes, you need a special machine to remove the run flats.

I received a PM that has Edmunds saying a donut is standard equipment in a AWD.

Tires and Wheels
alloy wheels
17 x 7.5 in. wheels
225/50R17 W tires run flat tires
temporary spare tire
steel spare wheel
inside mounted spare tire

My 450h has Bridgestone RFTs and it has a spare and all the tools. On the sticker it was an option... something like "All-Season Runflat tires w/spare"

So am I correct to say its optional for all 2007 and earlier GS with RF and standard with the 08 GS350 AWD and optional on the rest of the 08 GS, ie GS350 RWD, GS460 and GS450h.

I have a 2006 GS300 AWD, it came with run-flats, no donut spare, but it has all the tools.
