Good thread here. I may swap my tips too. I'd like to change my exhaust, but since I got a GSh, not sure if that's a wise choice. Anyone else with a GSh change out their exhaust, catback, axleback?

TTE (Euro equivalent of TRD) exhaust here...

It's a catback, it is very quiet under low and moderate load, it only scream under heavy acceleration... No problem whatsoever with the hybrid system...

I agree...do it right or dont do it at all...

Joe I am surprised you dont just get the Tanabe and slap it on?? It will be quiet enough on the car and give you the look you want. I wouldn't tap the exhaust tips off to push them out further. I need to see some pics. I am almost done taking off the stuff form my car to get the next.

Hope all is well Joe

Hi Mike.
I'm trying to stay with a comfortable quiet ride.
Even just went with Grand Touring class tires over Ultra High Performance A/S's for a quiet ride comfortable which these class tires delivered.I don't mind losing a bit of handling.

Took some pics after the install of the 20156 Borla round exhaust tips.
I had them welded on at a local exhaust shop.

After 3/4 rear view

Thanks I also figured it looked better than stock, especially since my
kit had made my original tips sunken in.

I probably paid too much $80, but I wanted to get it done right away and
did not shop around.
