is it that big of deal? are any of you paying for this car? get over it. it may not be what you like but it doesnt make it wrong. who would of thought there could be this many close minded people on a lexus forum as there are on a cheap econobox forum.

I agree that no one should be put down for their choices. My wife's car has Sevas wheels and no one better say a word to her about it. I don't prefer them but she likes them. If something happens, so be it. So far, no issues that wouldn't have happened with any wheel on her car. She's rough on wheels. They have scrapes and dents, even a 10k wheel would suffer under my wife's punishment. But they are her choice..........at least they look good.

That's my opinion on the wheels posted in this thread. IMO and it's only my opinion, the look isn't right for the car. They are too big and even if they were 20's, look like they belong on an Impala.

I have no intention to be mean or hurtful but we all are open to criticism when we post our choices on a public forum. The opinions really don't matter, it's whatever the owner likes that matter. If our opinions do matter, then he knew in his heart it probably wasn't the best choice.

i agree that on a public forum you do get positive and negitive whenever you post and im fine with that but to say hes wrong for doing it is a little over board.

Very well said reggie

Members let's get this thread back on topic. If you don't like the wheels by all means feel free to say so - the OP did post asking for your opinion. But please do so politely.... there is no need to be insulting if his taste in wheels or wheel size does not match your own. If you have personal experience with these wheels or similar wheels, opinions on 1 piece vs 3 piece, forged or not, plastic wheel parts, rough ride, scraping or wheel rolling with large size, etc etc share that - not personal commentary on purchasing.

IXI187IXI - please do not use such widesweeping inclusion in YOUR reply ("this many close minded people on a lexus forum") - only two people have posted personal or over the edge mocking replies. The others are personal opinion, observation or shared experience and exactly what the OP is asking for. Because you don't agree with them does not make them close minded either.

End of the day it's his car and will be his wheels; his preference and personal taste is all that really matters.

i understand what you mean and sorry i didnt mean for it to sound so bad. it just seems like every thread i see that someone mentions 22s that everyone gets all up tight about it and says how ugly its going to look and how its wrong and no one should go bigger than 20s. again if my previous post came off the wrong way i apologize for it.

to me, i don't talk about style unless people ask me, coz' that's subjective. size, i say what i want. go to ls460l forum and look for my car and you see 22s, and i only tell people to get 22s. but here i only tell people to go 20s. i say that for a reason

Someone posted pics of his GS on 22" AutoCoutare and it got pretty good from the members.

You can easily see the difference in quality of the wheels.

You can certainly ignore the opinions of others based on your own experience. However, when you try to make it sound like you're superior because of the size of your wheels

I don't see this thread headed in the right direction and am going to put it out of it's misery. Any future thread about wheels I suggest you put in the DUB forum.
