Hello All,
As summer begins it is getting unbearable to drive in 100 degree weather. I know the car comes with a light tint. Anyone know what percentage it is? It's too light for my taste and I am about to get my windows tinted in the following weeks. I was thinking 35%? Can anyone recommend a good place or what brand to get? Also, please post up some pics if you have them.

If you plan to get tinting, don't go to one of those whole in the wall places..
Go here...
http://www.campbellfilm.com/
This is where they do the best work.
They also have all types of tint, from the low grade to the most expensive.
Also, the alternatives in between.
Check out the website..
These people actually speak English, no pun.

My tint dude told me the factory windows are at approximately 70%-75% (amount of light that passes through). It's mainly the UV protection which is pretty much the California legal tint limit for the front windows.
I had all of my windows tinted (except the windshield) but kept getting pulled over in the same area so I decided to remove the front window tint. I only keep the rears tinted for my kid(s). This car should've came with rear side shades like the Bimmers.

What I did on my 2007 camry XLE V6 was..(can't remember exact %)
Back / Rear Passenger Windows = ?% (second darkest from limo black)
Front Driver / Passenger = ?% (second lightest for the purpose of blocking UV)
Looks not too bad.

I can't remember how dark my tint is but I know it was around 20% on 5 windows. I also use a sun protector that goes on the dash to cover the windshield when I'm not parked at home, it helps a lot.
