35% might be too light but that's personal preference, California tint in rosemead is where majority of us get our tints done

can't beat the price
+1 for California Tint. I've gotten my 2000 Accord, 2007 Camry, and a friend 2000 Lexus GS400 done there.

All came our excellent. Planning to do the same for the 2008 GS350 once it get deliver tint too.

Anyone know if the Metalic Tint having any issue with the 2008 GS350 Nav/Radio?

that's more like a film inside the glass, not really tint by definition

Also, please post up some pics if you have them.
There is another alternative if you live in CA where the laws are quite stringent regarding tint and that is V-Kool 70%. I personally have no experience with the product, but I know it is used on high-end cars. The beauty of V-Kool 70%, so they say, is that it is virtualy clear when applied to your window but has great UV and IR protection and lowers cabin temperatures noticeably. Ofcoarse, it's expensive but a least you wont be hassled by the cops.

If you plan to get tinting, don't go to one of those whole in the wall places..

Go here...

http://www.campbellfilm.com/

This is where they do the best work.
They also have all types of tint, from the low grade to the most expensive.
Also, the alternatives in between.

Check out the website..

These people actually speak English, no pun.

Well, it's not film inside the glass, but it is tint, by any definition.

My tint dude told me the factory windows are at approximately 70%-75% (amount of light that passes through). It's mainly the UV protection which is pretty much the California legal tint limit for the front windows.

I had all of my windows tinted (except the windshield) but kept getting pulled over in the same area so I decided to remove the front window tint. I only keep the rears tinted for my kid(s). This car should've came with rear side shades like the Bimmers.

What I did on my 2007 camry XLE V6 was..(can't remember exact %)

Back / Rear Passenger Windows = ?% (second darkest from limo black)
Front Driver / Passenger = ?% (second lightest for the purpose of blocking UV)

Looks not too bad.

I can't remember how dark my tint is but I know it was around 20% on 5 windows. I also use a sun protector that goes on the dash to cover the windshield when I'm not parked at home, it helps a lot.
