Pretty good review, but I'm not sure if I'd put the Jag in #1 place.... That center console **** is all too weird, and I'm still sceptical about its reliability.
I'd put the MB into #1 place. It look pretty good with AMG package, defenately not as bland as the standard model, and its interior just shines above all else, and quite frankly, the NA 5.5 380hp/380lb/ft engine will be the most powerful and responsive on the streets.
And its very sad to admit, but the 3GS is just nothing short of a POS. Soapbox exterior styling combined with cheap plasticy interior, and relative lack of power and performance... combined with retarded 8 speed. What a disgrace to the GS name, especially the brilliant 2GS.

He is boring, but he's opinon seems very fair and reasonable, and he evaluated the cars from all perspectives. He was dead on with his phrase that 550 is the best sports sedan, just not the best luxury sports sedan. If you wanna hear funny commentary about cars, watch top gear.

An example of why Lexus should have placed the LS engine in the GS as it is simply outclassed in the power department. The transmission though is first class and even with it's power deficiency it was not last on the figure 8.
I would certainly rate the GS interior over the jag and BMW. Lights years ahead. Surprised how slow the jag was with a 420hp blown V8, behind both the 550 and Benz and the numbers for the GS seems tad slow.
The outcome could be about right but as I cannot stand jags I would have rated them differently.
Like any review, those that own the number one car will like the review and others will think the comparo was rigged.

Lee, we have no solid conclusion but it seems the LS 4.6 has dual intakes to the GS 4.6 single intake, thus the lost 40 hp.
I agree the GS 460 is very smooth, so smooth I could not tell that it was much faster than my 430.
Those 4 cars are all winners to me.

Sorry if this is a repost, but I can't believe we finished last when compared to the BMW 550, E550, and Jag XF.
I saw my neighbor's XF the other day, and I got to admit it looks sweet. I checked it out online, and the price is just around 5k more, but puts out more HP if equipped with a supercharger. Has anyone on here test driven a XF? What did you think of it?
By the way, there's a part 1 to it as well...just look for it.

BY the way ... did this dislike our car before he even drove it? listen to his comments:
styling is dated, its been around 4 or 5 years, busy front end, rear styling is boring, interior is black and dark, seats lack length and cushion...
