Exclamation Anybody else notice a spelling error on Navi. System?

I have a 08' GS 350. After paying $50K, I was shocked to find a spelling error on the Navi System. as well as in the owner's manual. After bringing it to my salesperson attention and Lexus Manufacturer I was told that this has never been reported by any other owner, however it is probably the case on all vehicles. They went on to say most people who have these navi systems rarely use them. At any rate, here's how to find it....

First hit the talk button.

Then give a broad command ex: Nearst gas station.

System will say "Searching for nearby gas stations....(pause while loading)push talk button and say enter destination or show list.

If you hit show list it will Verbally say Displaying Nearby Gas Stations...However, look closely at the text and you'll see that displaying is actually spelled diaplaying.

After reporting this to the Lexus Manufacturer they were able to duplicate the error in the manual and the vehicle and offered me a complimentary software upgrade. There is one coming up in the fall 08 but i was recommended to wait for the spring 09 update b/c it may be too late for the correction to be made for the fall 08 update. Just food for thought!

By the way the spelling errors in the 2008 GS350 owners manual were on pages 300 - 304 (Names of past U.S. Presidents)...Come on Lexus! lol!
