i am new here i have lexus 2008 GS300 while i move i caoudnt select the options only when stop who i can i select and see movies during motion and the map some location is empty no road like moving in universal.

you can't select some options while moving because of the Lexus lockout safety mechanism. they don't want the driver distracted by operating the nav or dvd player. many owners do not like that, but it is working as intended. there are other threads about how to unlock the nav/dvd while moving. I'm not sure about the empty locations. maybe those roads are new and don't show up on the dvd map version you have.

do a search to discover the option of bypassing the lockout safety feature of the navigation unit. as far as empty locations; possible upgrade to a new DVD version but no guarantees that the road will appear.....

if he has the 2008 MY, his only choice to bypass is to cut the wires or install the kit.

well, I doubt that Saudi Arabia is well mapped out, check the dealer to see if there is an even more updated dvd available.. if not... then you'll just have to wait
