Nice!
I only have a attached one car garage on my bi-level home.
I'd love a two car with a lift.
Due to low ceiling,I'd go with a http://www.kwiklift.com.

I had it build with an extra high ceiling for that reason

What brand did you get?
My son in law was thinking about getting this one.

I paid a little over $3,000 from this company + 150 for a wrecker to drive 25 miles to Roadway express and drop it in my drive way. The price included lightweight aluminum ramps, a jack bridge so you can jack up the car to work on it while it is on the ramp. I believe they are one of the best home units on the market. Rotary is used in many dealerships is a higher capacity and is better but a lot more money and the average back yard mechanic does not need something that will lift 14,000 pounds, and there are cheaper ones that are made in China that I wouldn't trust with my car and more importantly my life

They were cheaper than going directly through the manufacturer

I just checked the link and didn't expect BendPak because some the stuff Northern sells is low quality stuff. But BendPak is a very high quality unit and Northern is selling it at a good price.

One thing I don't like about it is that although a 2 post is better for working on cars it is far less stabile than a 4 post, puts more stress on the floor and need a nice solid thick concret floor, and if you don’t know what you are doing you need to get a pro to install it. And it isn’t as good for stacking cars for storage.

I am installing the 4 post myself but a 2 post is beyond my ability and if I were getting one I would have a pro do it that is insured for any dammage due to improper installation. You may want to go with a 4 post after you find out how much a pro will charge to install it.

The new two car garage you built, is it for two car vertically as you mentioned with high ceiling? The picture angle is difficult to see whether it's a two car side-by-side or top-bottom. It seems a side-by-side making more sense in your huge yard... either way, it looks nice and makes me jealous.

Great info,thanks.
I'll relay this info to my son in law.
What is the height of your model?
I'll probably be helping him do the install so maybe a 4 post is a better way to go.
We just started talking about this over the holiday.
So we haven't researched much yet but your unit may work.
