Default GS350 AWD drifting problem?

Any of you guys feel that your steering wheel is not tight/stiff enough? I don't know how else to explain it. When I'm on the highway or even on the streets, it drifts back and forth when I go over little bumps. It feels like I'm in a SUV and the wind is blowing me back and forth. So depending on the road, it may steer right or left. I just returned an ES loaner and no such problem. So was just wondering if this is normal for the GS. Thanks.

Oh, and btw I'm on 19" with 35 series tires, but this was also experienced on my stock run flats.

This may be caused by low profile tires. It's called tramlining when treads of low profile tires get caught in grooves & dips in road causing it to drift. This has nothing to do with car, it's the tires.

I agree with Bokmeipai. I have a '06 GS300AWD w/ 18" wheels & runflats from the GS430 & for the first year I experienced the same drifting (disconnected steering) feel within the first 2 weeks of ownership. Alignment was performed 4 times within the 1st year (twice by Lexus and a nearby Goodyear each). At 11K miles I discovered uneven tire wear & took it back to Lexus, who check the complete suspension system & alignment & concluded I received a bad set of Dunlop RF's when the dealer swapped out my wheels/tires at purchase. Lexus provided a new set of Dunlops in June '07 re-aligned it & problem solved. Now on rough pavements (grooves created by heavy load trucks like dump & concrete trucks) the car still tends to get tossed about sometimes, but such is the nature of low profile runflat tires.
