Starfire Pearl Picture request......
Ive mentioned something about this before. I had my dealer install a "3m" Clear bra on the car right when I purchased it. They called it the "autobond". When I first got it it was nice and clear, I could barely notice it. Its been a few months and its starting to turn yellow. I can really notice it even from a good distance away. Can anyone take a picture of their clear bra on their car yellowed or not please? So i can compare.
Thanx in advance.
I added some pictures with a flash and without....It is def worse in the sun. Looks very yellow. This cant be normal.
UPDATE: Got it re-done and now its super clear. Any suggestions on how to prevent it to yellow?!

if you really got 3m, then you get a 5 year warranty against yellowing, and should go back and get it redone.
looks like you got a cheap knockoff.
you should always wax the the bra to prevent the plastic from oxidizing too fast

I have the 3M w/ Starfire Pearl and get the same effect after a few months as well. I'd post a picture but..... too lazy to find the camera, go to the garage, etc. today - sorry . Yes I'm sure it's 3M and I do have the warranty as well.
Anyhow, all you need to do is clean it up like you would when you're detailing your car. Strip all the old wax off by washing w/ dawn and then clay it. On mine, a found that a quick wipe down w/ bug & tar remover takes even more of the yellow tint away - I presume it's just oxidized plastic caused by loss of the "oils" (think along the lines of a hazed rear window on an older convertible top). Then just polish (3M hand glaze, Meguiars #9 or the like) and finally protect w/ a good coat of wax.

This is why I won't go with a car bra.
I had Ventureshield on a white '07 Camry XLE.It didn't really yellow too much but you could see it was there and more so at the edges.Tough keeping those edges clean on white.Especially in a winter climate.
Also didn't help me when I hit a deer causing $8K in damage.
IMO,a the bra works well with dark colors.

nice.
now, in one month, put a nice layer of wax on it....... like you do with the paint.
treat it like paint
same idea with the headlights. gotta put a layer of wax on those too, or else they turn really foggy and yellow too.
