They said I could make the report, but it would be useless. The dent was easily less then 100 bucks to fix, my deductible is $500. I can't take it to my insurance to make the claim because that would be stupid, pay them 500 bucks to fight back and fourth when I can get it fixed on my own for cheaper. Yes, stupid rules indeed.

I was thinking of getting one, BUT I might end up in jail before I even get it. lol. Its barely noticable, I could probably use a heat gun to heat it up and let the bumper go back to form.

Default dude was uninsured

Picked up the police report today.....As I suspected the a hole was not insured..Now I have to go through Geico and pay the 500 deductible. They will pursue in court to try to recover the monies but they can't promise anything. All I can say is that the NEW CAR feeling is gone. Hopefully it will be repaired properly. I am **** when it comes to my cars. Thanks for the replies guys.

I've been hit twice by uninsured motorists, and one hit and run. I've got zero tolerance for those idiots!

Sucks, MD. My car was only a couple of months old when it was hit in a parking lot. The damage wasn't severe, but the hell I had to go through to get it painted properly was ridiculous. I felt the same way as you do now -- new car feeling was gone. Good luck with everything.
