Question To Buy Or Not To Buy??

So now that I've finished school and have been working a year I can finally buy that GS that I've always wanted...but I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I love the 3rd gen GS but I hear lexus is coming out with a new model for 2011 ready to sell in 2010. I know that model is going to look sick..thats just the way the trends been going. What should I do?? I'm so ready to buy but should I stick it out another few years? What would you do...

Buy a used one and when the new one comes out, sell it or trade it in for the new body.

Plus its still 2008, not even close to 2010 yet. Maybe lease one if you have funds.

Lease or try to save your money for the next Gen!

Used is always nice also if you love the car that much, I almost got a used E39 M5 but it was salvaged so I passed, still looking for one!

Definitely get it used. I made the mistake of getting it new and drive it out the lot to lose thousands even though I did get a great deal on it...

OR

If you have a reliable car right now, I would just wait. With the bad economy and sales data from car companies, this oct/nov clearance event will give you low finance rate and great prices.. :P

I'm sure no one on here regrets buying their first "L".

I say go ahead and get it now, preferably used or a super low lease?

Especially if you've been waiting this long to buy a Lexus.

I guess I am the wrong person to ask because I have a habit of changing cars too often. I got a RX400H on a 3 year lease got rid of it a year early so I could lease the GS450H. I love the GS450H so much I am thinking of keeping it when the lease ends but I said the same thing about the RX400H two years ago. Leasing is the worst way to own a car but it works aout well if you like changing cars a lot.

I would just go for the 08. you deserve it man. after school and all of the stress you deserve it. I would get the 08 now, and waut for them to work the bugs out of the next generation and buy a 4GS in 2012.
