I would not say that the Houston dealers are all the same. Not by a long shot. Northside and Westside are owned by the same owner and offer same services which Sterling McCall and Clear Lake do not - mainly:

1. Free pickup and drop off for service while you own the car
2. Free loaners while you own the car
3. Free service first 2 years of ownership

I was originally going to buy from SM, but liked Westside much better, and got a better deal there on my 2007.

Some Lexus dealers will loan out Toyota Camrys or send you to Enterprise if they are out of Lexus loaners.
At Sewell Lexus, they will give you a loaner vehicle even just for the oil change (with or without appointment)!!!

No wonder they are rated #1 in service!!! A+++

DOnt know if you already purchased or not. Just reading the thread. I got mine from Sewell Lexus in Dallas. I got ML package RWD for 45715. Sticker was 51,5k. This was in April. I live in Louisiana. Dont depend on LA giving you deal no where near what you getting right now. I tried all dealerships in Louisiana and they wouldnt come near to that price.

Same. I just put a deposit down for a GS 350 at westside yesterday. Got the car for a great price I think. $45.8k before tt&l with everything but ML

Hm, what color combo did you get? I was quoted 48,500 OTD at Westside.

I got obsidian with cashmere interior. I have to wait a week or so but I was told not to mention my driveout price because he didn't want to sell it that low ever again.

i don't know about texas but 45.8 is not an extremely low price, at least here in socal. with the weak economy i'd think prices here in socal would be even lower

nah. 45.8 is not the best, but decent.
about 12% off sticker.

i actually think 45.8k W/OUT ML and before taxes, title, license is a bit high. i just bought one WITH ML (and everything) last week for about 44.9k before TT&L. however, i read across many forums and it seemed to be the best price thus far. (most i saw as the best price with ML was about 45.5).

i was actually quoted 43.2k as my best price W/OUT ML, so the 45.8 is quite high.

by the way, my quotes were for the GS 350 and RWD. perhaps yours is for AWD? or for the GS 460?

drive out the door price was $49k flat and had to negotiate this through several iterations. i live in area where sales tax is 8.25%.

they also gave me an out the door price of $47.1k w/OUT ML.

i think these were the best prices that i've seen on forums, etc. perhaps it's the economy, where they are budging a little bit more now?
