Default 2008 GS350 Price

It's really late in the year now so I'm guessing i could get a good deal on one. I'm located in Houston and I've been looking around for a couple of months.

I recieved the price of 47,000 out the door for a GS350 w/NAV/NO ML. I was close to purchasing but i decided to look around a bit more. Is this a decent deal even though the 09's are coming in a few months?

It's not just late in the year - luxury car sales are waaaaaay down. That doesn't sound like too bad of a deal. Expect 5k+ off sticker though. I got mine for about 46k, but it had some extras - listed for about 51.5k

If i buy from out of state, can I still get my car serviced in Htown? I see some crazy prices on this forum and it doesn't fly here in Houston, lol.

You can buy it out of state, but once you register the car in you're home state, you're subject to pay the sales tax on it of your original purchase price.

Also, you can buy any Lexus in the United States and service it at any authorized Lexus service department in the USA, granted you're still within the warranty period.

LOL, some of these dealers are lying. One dealer said if I buy from another dealer, I won't recieve the first 25k service everyone gets and when i get my car serviced for a fee, they will not give me a Lexus loaner. The dude messed up when he lied to me cause I know all Lexus dealers give out Lexus loaners.

Actually it's first 5,000 mile service which is complimentary courtesy of Lexus. Most dealerships will only give you a loaner car if your car is in for a major service. They usually don't give you a loaner for a simple 5k service which is a lube, oil and filter change w/tire rotation. Some small dealerships do, most of them don't. Some Lexus dealers will loan out Toyota Camrys or send you to Enterprise if they are out of Lexus loaners.

Well, all of the ones in Houston loan out Lexus vehicles. Oh, I didn't know that it was 5,000 mile service.

You could also try shopping around the state. I'm in Houston, but I got mine in Austin, for what was a good deal at the time, seeing that I ordered it right when the model year came out.

One of the local dealers in NY told me the same thing, if I buy the car elsewhere, I won't get a loaner here when something happens to the car.

Whats the price of the car without tax title and fee. Out the door price has too many varibles to really tell if you got a good price.

doesnt seem bad at all as long as it comes with the ml system. I waited until early september to get mine, but I think I have should have waited until october. I got mine with everything except the ML syetem for 45K with a costco card. I cant believe a costco card saved me money on a lexus GS. LOL
