i've always felt that white cars are mostly driven by chicks and are a bit fem. however, IMHO, i feel that the GS350 looks best in black (when absolutely clean), but for lower maintenance, i like white the most.
there's just some part of me that feels that white cars are a bit fem? i'm no car enthusiast, but is this stigma or stereotypical thought completely wrong?

i dont think white is feminine at all. cars look amazing in white, especially lexus. when they do the white vip theme. its so sexy. i think also it depends on the car...take for example
does this look feminine? lol
this looks feminine no matter what color, even black.

I own a 08 starfire pearl GS350 and I personally like white cars. I wouldn't say all white cars are feminine, just certain models, i.e. the volkswagen beetle. I get a better satisfaction after washing a white car then I do from a darker car.

i don't like either white or black.
white does look elegant on some cars.
but white also hides the car's character lines too much.
even more so with black.... Black with tints, just looks like a giant piece of dog poo. I can't tell what the hell the car is unless I'm 5 feet away from it.
it could be just a black box with wheels, and i wouldn't be able to tell from 300 ft away

I think it depends on the car. For the GS, here's my 2bits (in order of what looks best):
GS looks best in black. Hands down.
black - looks sleek, classy and sporty
white - looks clean, but i think probably need to get chrome rims to make it look better. to be honest, it is a "little" fem.
silver - looks nice, but a bit plain
if you're having second thoughts about it, i think you need to go with black, regardless of more maintenance.

Glacier Frost is a good color!
I agree black looks best, If I could buy my car again I would get black!
Silver is more of a more futuristic color!
To be honest though the GS looks great in every color, I think!
If I was getting the 997 GT3 I would get it in only white or a flat/matte black!

Unless "white" means "pearl white" (like on Audis), I don't like it on any car. White is the standard color for rental cars...
