Default power problem

so the cigarette lighter/outlet located under the main display in my '07 gs 350 awd doesnt work. whenever i plug a charger into it, my radar detector, or even the cigarette lighter into it, thye all don't work. also at about the same time the outlet stopped working, the subwoofer i have hooked up in the trunk (connected to the battery under the front hood) stopped receiving power as well.

does anyone know what's wrong or how i could solve this problem? should i take it back to the dealer to check it out?

One of two things may have happened here. 1) A fuse blew out or 2) The actual plug behind the cigarette lighter managed it's way loose. With your sub hooked up in the trunk, it's most likely you have a blown fuse. You can check in the manual to locate the blown fuse for the cigarette lighter/accessory relay.

If all else fails, take it in to the service dept if you're unsure. You may want to remove your aftermarket subwoofer also.

The sub was probably wired into the same fuse circut as the lighter and the sub pulled too many amps and blew the fuse
