Default After much debate, I bought a 07 GS350 over a IS350 (w/pics)

Hi all, I've been lurking here and in the 2IS forums for a few months now as I tried to make up my mind and search for the perfect new car for me.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2007 GS350. It is in the exact color combo I wanted with even more options that I really wanted and I think I got a decent deal! I did take a quick Southwest flight to Alabama and drive 700 miles back with it though, and boy the car does not disappoint.

Here are the specs:

2007 Lexus GS350 in Black Sapphire Pearl / Cashmere interior
Nav System
ML Sound
Ventilated/Heated Seats
Rear Spoiler
18" wheels w/ Summer tires
Rain sensing wipers
Parking sensors, etc.
20.5k miles
Not a scratch or discoloration anywhere (except some rock chips on the hood - too late for a clear bra)

These pics are pre-tinting. I just got it tinted with Huper Optik 30 ceramic tint.

Thanks everybody... looking at these pics again (which I took a week or two ago), I realize how much I've already "defaced" the front of the car... had to add a front plate (the bracket was in the trunk of the car when I bought it) and an inspection and registration sticker in the front windshield on the drivers side bottom as well as a parking sticker for work on the passenger side bottom... arghh... my car will never be as clean as it was when I first got it again!

The tint, though, is working out nicely, especially in this Houston heat. I'll post some post-tint pics soon.

What do you guys suggest as my next essential mod? I'm already thinking to do the brake dust TSIB as the previous owner obviously didn't do it. Any other warranty issues I should deal with at the same time?

Any recommendations on the best Lexus service dealer in Houston? I am close to both Sterling McCall and Westside Lexus... the other two are much further away.

oh no.... are cops that picky about front plates in TX?

cops will have to point a gun at me for me to put a front plate on my car.. i don't care which states I am in..

enjoy the new ride. Looks great. Do you think you may do some mild mods in the future?
