Mainly with the optional 18" wheels and the Yokohama tires.

You might wanna go with a lower performance tire or something quieter like a Michelin. What do you have on now?

I think you might of have Yokohama Advan on your toy, they are great if you do lots of street race. Other than that, they are noisy as hack.

Try to talk to your service advisor, see if he/she would change out your tires to Michelin Primacy HP. It is much quieter, but less in performance.

Hope this helps,

Steve

The originals were Dunlop SP Sport 2050.
Any recommendations for the 17 inch OEM wheels?
I used Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z in the US and its soo quiet.
Perhaps Dunlop SP9000
Or ...... something like Yokohama ASpec Db or sth.

Haha, the service advisor here tells me that they can only change those tires back to Dunlops or Yokohama. I guess i will start looking for other shops!

u're from Indo too. How much did u get ur GS for?? did u buy it from a built up importer? my dad was thinking of getting the GS too in Indo, but he changed his mind as there was no Lexus dealer in the past (before Oct 2007), and was afraid that the toyota dealers arent good in dealing with lexus cars. haha. anyway nice to hear that there's someone from Indo too.

Wow nice to hear that too.
I bought the GS from the Lexus dealer here.
Its a hefty price but all service included for 5 years/ unlimited kms.
The total price is the same as mercedes E280 here.
The Toyota dealer here service the other car that we have (Toyota Crown) which have the same engine as GS300, so i wouldnt worry about that.
I am hesitant to drive this car out because potholes everywhere.
